Well it has been a busy few weeks, continuing with the development of some ideas for stock pieces. It has been thought provoking working out how some jigs will help the making process.
I have also been making lots of pieces for exhibitions. This has ranged from stands for Manikins and framed wooden shelves which will support Textile work.
Just submitted my 3rd article to the furniture and cabinetmaking magazine. It presented some challenges describing some processes but I think i got there in the end.
With the summer coming up and September looming i guess people might be making decisions about theirfuture, In September I have a range of furniture making courses beginning. I hope you can join me to learn a new skill and begin your new career as a furniture maker.
Courses available range from 2 day to year long
I have a great deal of success with past students winning shows such as The Young Craftsman of The Year 2008 & 2010
Hopefully see you soon
