I am a furniture maker with over 18 years experience. My academic experience began at Oxfordshire’s Rycotewood College, before progressing to graduating with a degree in furniture design and cabinet making from Edinburgh College of Art in 2001.
Since acquiring the necessary academic credentials, I have worked for a number of furniture and cabinet makers in the UK honing my skills. I am also a qualified teacher and taught award winning furniture making courses in Sussex

I am a committee member for the Young Craftsman Competition and in June 2017 I was invited to Judge the competition. This is a yearly competition at the South of England show in Ardingly, West Sussex. It show cases the craft talents of 14 – 21 year old’s and is a platform for them to start careers in their chosen craft. The category’s are woodwork, Metalwork, ceramics, textiles and design and technology.
I also contribute to the Furniture and Cabinet maker magazine which is published by the Guild of master craftsmen.
