Working on some old dovetail drawers and replacing a part of the drawer side so that they work correctly.

Brighton marathon
Went to the Brighton marathon today to cheer on my friend Jo and Paul I was hoping to get a picture of Paul as he is normally behind the lens. He is http://www.paulfletcherphotography.co.uk. Unfortunately I didn’t spot him. I also bumped into a good friend who I went to Edinburgh college of art with.
I always enjoy the Brighton marathon it is well supported and not as crowded as the London. Navigating your way round and meeting up with friends works really well. Well done to the organisers and the army of volunteers.
sad news when I returned home I learnt that a runner had died. Very sad

Festool Domino jointer
Well I have finally done it and bought myself a Domino cutter from Festool. After hours of searching around Axminster tools centre offered the best value and an impressive array of extras.
today I have been making some simple pieces of furniture to test out the new kit. It is very simple to use and all the preset dials make life so easy.
