Solid wood shelves
Solid Utile shelves glueing up in cramps for a living room display cabinet. Really important to use good quality cramps and plenty of them to keep the pressure even. Clean all glue off them to make sanding much easier. These solid wood shelves have been glued together using Evo Stick PVA. Glueing up panels is a big part of furniture making as more accuracy at this stage helps create the perfect finish

Raised and Fielded Panel doors
Today I’m working on a bathroom vanity unit for a home in Brighton. I will post photos of that tomorrow. I have made two doors for the unit from solid tulip wood. They have stopped chamfers and raised and fielded panels. The entire unit will get painted in Farrow and ball paint.

Cutting list
First Cutting list of the year! Even though this looks like a messy list, this makes lots of sense to me. Never start cutting material until you know what you need to cut. Or indeed think about resolving an issue later it will come back to bite. This is for a bathroom vanity unit in Brighton, Sussex.
